Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival

July 5 to 28, 2024

I'm thrilled to announce that I will be heading back up north to play the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet and Valentine/First Officer in Twelfth with the Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival! While I love musical theatre, I can't wait to get back to my roots with a summer full of Shakespeare. And to escape the Texas summer heat by heading to Wisconsin, a state that has been a huge part of my career, just makes it even better.

The Lost Colony

May 27 through August 20, 2022

After 9 years away from one of my favorite places, I am so excited to return to Roanoke Island to play Queen Elizabeth I in the 85th Season of The Lost Colony, America's longest running outdoor drama. The Lost Colony has a special place in my heart as it was my first professional contract when I was just a junior in college. To go from the choir in 2011 and 2013 to the Queen this year is a wonderful full circle moment for me. Not only is this show special to me, it is special to my whole family. My uncle was a dancer back when he was in college and my grandparents went on a date there back in the late 1940s. To come back to this legendary show and to help tell the story in a new way that honors the legacy of all the people who were here and whose fates we do not know is a great honor. If you're in the Outer Banks this summer, come and experience America's great mystery in a new and exciting way.

The cast is incredible with stellar direction by Matthew Silar,, music direction by Blair King, and choreography by Eean Cochran. Our kids are such stars and I couldn't be more honored to whip those little maggots into shape for the next two months.

Texas Strong: A Concert for Hurricane Harvey Relief

September 16, 2017

After the devastation wrought on my home state by Hurricane Harvey, I couldn't sit back and do nothing. I decided to bring together some of my amazing fellow Texans here in NYC for a one night benefit concert supporting the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, which is helping with recovery efforts in Houston. The concert will take place at the West End Lounge and feature songs written by Texans performed by the next generation of Texas artists.

Shakesday: Love & Laughter

April 22, 2017

So excited to celebrate the birthday of one of my favorite playwrights with Classics on the Rocks. Join us as we honor William Shakespeare almost on his birthday. I'll be playing two of the funniest male roles in the Shakespeare canon, Launce from Two Gentlemen of Verona and Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream with a hysterical cast performing snippets of some of Shakespeare's most comedic and/or romantic scenes. Come enjoy some cake, wine, and Shakespeare.
